Vista Life Innovations Starlight Benefit Fundraiser, April 28

Vista Life Innovations is turning the clock back to the 1950's for its annual
Starlight Benefit spring fundraiser and social event!

April 28th
Water's Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook
6:00pm

Becker's is proudly donating a double row multi-star
pendant in 14k yellow and white gold set with 40 points
of diamonds for the auction - a retail value of $1,000!

Open to community members, the Vista Starlight Benefit is a spirited evening that includes live and silent auctions, a cocktail hour, dinner and live entertainment. This year's event will feature a 1950's diner theme complete with soda jerks, rock and roll music, poodle skirts and, of course, old-fashioned hamburgers and milkshakes. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in 1950's-inspired clothing.

Funds raised by the Vista Starlight Benefit help support the many programs and services offered by Vista, including a special fund that underwrites exciting activities and initiatives for Vista students and members.

This year's event honoree is Bill McMinn, owner of Essex Printing and Events Magazines in Centerbrook. McMinn and his wife, Sigrid Kun, are active supporters of numerous community organizations in and around the shoreline, including the goPINK Project, which raises funds for patients undergoing breast cancer treatment at Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center; the At-Risk Boys Fund, which supports programs for at-risk male youth across Connecticut; and the Community Foundation of Middlesex County's campaign for a bully-free community.

McMinn and the entire Essex Printing team are also longtime Vista community partners who have sponsored a multitude of events and fundraisers over the years in support of Vista's mission—assisting individuals with disabilities achieve personal success.
